Stench of Redemption gives second-wave death metal’s knotted veins a much needed shot in the arm with pure fucking Satanic steroids. And if it seems Deicide is never again fated to reach the beautifully sickening lows of Deicide or Legion, well, what of it? The power and conviction in these new songs is nigh-on overwhelming.
