Glitterbox

Tied & Tangled

Atlantic

Whether you love the British invasion or not (I’m talkin’ late ’90s not late ’60s) you should be able to differentiate between the good (Blur), the bad (Tindersticks), and the ugly (…Oasis!). In this case, Glitterbox comes off as too smarmy, too clever, too… British. Oh, they may try to seem worldly with “You Can’t Live On Mars,” but “Scared of All the World”? Ooooh. They seem so frightened. So deep. And I’m so sick of the very genre I’ve been trumpeting for so long. It’s my fault and I’ll deal with it. (If I’m not too scared that is.)
