As with a lot of improvised music, this requires a great deal of patience to get past the first few minutes of this album before surrendering to the chaos created by violin and piano. Tangle begins with what sounds like a confused insect flying inside a piano as it is tinkered with by a young child. Both musicians wander off into their own private solos until they both land on some common note which they then exploit until a crashing crescendo is reached.
