I suppose it was only a matter of time before someone at the rehab clinics got all their “stars” together and recorded an album. While the band members are not credited for privacy reasons, it’s pretty clear that this particular recording session was primarily attended by rockers.
The Works is a two-disc album, with one record being pressed in olive drab vinyl, the other in brown. What is strange is that there are only four songs, that is, one on each side. I believe, though, that there is much more recorded material available, and this is simply a sampler to test the waters. The first song is an eighteen and a half minute droning chant, similar to the Velvet Underground’s “Sister Ray.” The second song is an eighteen and a half minute droning chant, similar to the Velvet Underground’s “Sister Ray.” The third song is an eighteen and a half minute droning chant, similar to the Velvet Underground’s “Sister Ray.” The fourth song is an eighteen and a half minute droning chant, similar to the Velvet Underground’s “Sister Ray.”
