My feelings about this record are very mixed. On the one hand, I am very impressed with the musicianship. The use of banjos, viola, organs, and cello along with drums and guitar, mix extremely well. My complaint is the voice of Mr. Hoops. His singing style is very breathy, and after fifteen songs, it becomes very monotonous and boring. Perhaps Mr. Hoops can discover a vocal range or even hire a lead singer, because that would complete the record and even make it worth while to listen to over and over again.
