Muscle Bitches

Hellephant

Factor

Just the other day, I was complaining that there is no good music coming out anymore. Leave it to the independent companies to continue distributing interesting music. Case in point: The Muscle Bitches. Not too original, but a lot of fun. To start off, the CD cover is an elephant with chrome tusks, side pipes, and flames. The opening songs, “Save The Nymphos” and “Country,” set the mood for the entire record. The highlight is the quadrilogy which contains “Boy After Boy Parts 1 and 2” and “Elephant/Hellephant.” The climax to “Hellephant” is an opera chant of “all hail elephant.” As a group, the musicianship is excellent, and the singers complement each other very well. I enjoyed this disc a lot; the only negative point is that I really did not care to see the Reverend Kitten Flesh in a g-string with his sac exposed.
