It’s almost pop-punk, but not enough punk. More like pop-rock, squeaky-clean guy vocals with nice back-ups and all that. Reminds me of Weston when they went totally pop (when Dave stopped singing). It has that same catchy quality of Weston songs… hard to figure how that song got in your head, but it did. Another good thing about Smartbomb CA is the songs all sound different. What a great thing that is. The name makes me think of a deathmetal band, though. This record is actually a keeper.
