Contingency Cannibalism: Superhardcore Survivalism’s Dirty Little Secret

by Shiguro Takada

Paladin Press

Black humor at its blackest, while most informative at the same time – my kinda book.

Shiguro starts us off with a touch of background on the basic principles of anthropophagy, takes us down some dark paths of history where people were known to eat other people, and then wraps up with some mouth-watering recipes.

No end of neato little tidbits sprinkled throughout. The Sawney Beane clan. Some of the stuff the Aztecs indulged in. A hilarious look at the proper use for vegetarians (“Grazers”). “Authentic Irish Stew.” All kinds of stuff.

Buy this one and leave it ever so casually laying around on the coffee table. Then invite somebody over that you really don’t care for. Tee hee.
