It’s good to see something else appear from this band, as the two-song seven inch on Grand Theft Autumn a few years back totally left me hungry for more. Chisel Drill Hammer play instrumental music that varies from quiet to busy and surging with lots of interlocking melodies. A lot of this reminds me of jazz, and a particluar band I can’t quite put my finger on. Chisel Drill Hammer are very tight musically and have more than enough interesting ideas to keep me enthralled throughout.
