Miles Hunt was the vocalist for the woefully under appreciated Wonder Stuff. Hairy on the Inside collects eleven wonderful examples of Hunt’s powerful lyrical composition and delivery. The words reside on a solid bed of somewhat acoustic Britpop, which makes it sound a bit dated, but this is nonetheless a deeply personal record that has grabbed my attention and forced it to sit and take notes.
