Waxwing are a band that sound a little like SDRE, but with much more originality than most other bands of this nature. They play driving, rockin’, melodic pop with vocals reminiscent of solo era Jeremy Enigk or a rough sounding Elliot Smith. If you’re into SDRE and similar styles than you won’t be disappointed by For Madmen Only . Very nice.
