Screeching Weasel

Thank You Very Little

Panic Button

Middle fingers, some leather jackets, snotty-but-poppy songs and you have Screeching Weasel. This is along the same lines as the previous collection of “B-sides, outtakes, comp. tracks,” Kill The Musicians . According to Ben Weasel, there just were too many great versions of songs that weren’t available anymore. I can’t tell which ones were previously released, but I don’t think that Ben could tell all his songs apart, either. I didn’t really think that Kill The Musicians was necessary, but this double CD has a live set from 1993 (arguably SW’s heyday). Recording quality? From 1-10, about a 5. Includes a written history of the band (which is interesting, if you’re into that Behind The Music VH1 crap). If you’re a big Weasel fan, then you probably already have it, or now you’re going to.
