Coming Down with the Sickness

At first glance, I figured Disturbed was another typical metal band with a cliché name. But, looking closer, the names Andy Wallace, (who mixed most of Faith No More albums) and Bob Ludwig, (who has mastered everything under the sun), have credits on this 5 song promo CD. Now with this in mind, I’m expecting something that will redefine the rock landscape.

Well, while Disturbed are sonically intact with the help of the aforementioned heavyweight engineers/producers, they are realistically just another bland guitar-radio-rock band. Disturbed have abandoned the most important aspect of music: Dynamics. In other words, this is boring. Disturbed don’t break any new barriers with this mini-CD. Jeez, what else can I say…
