Fat Wreck Chords
OK, it’s Fat Wreck Chords, so you pretty much know it’s pop punk. Still, this is a step up from NOFX and similar mediocrities from that ubiquitous camp. Maybe it’s Snuff being Limeys, but the melodies are somewhat more memorable than standard fare. Some nice arrangements here, you don’t often hear a Hammond B-3 or horn arrangements (skunk excluded, and this is not ska-influenced) on Fat Wreck.
While some of this is throwaway (do we really need another song called “F*ck Off?”), anybody puts a Tiger tank on the back cover of their album’s alright wi’me.
