For some reason, the music this album reminds me of the most is bar band music – the type of music one is liable to hear performed by bands that are good, not great, that never seems to reach beyond the narrow confines of their city or town. Far from being bad, some of the tracks on this disk shine, but overall the music is not exceptionally noteworthy. Too often it lands somewhere in that region best performed by bands such as Phish and the Grateful Dead. For those readers particularly fond of those bands, this disk may be enjoyable.
