The Party of Helicopters

Mt. Forever

Troubleman Unlimited

Imagine two trains approaching each other at high speeds. One is carrying a riff-heavy metal band that listens to a lot of black metal and Ozzy. The other train has a kid who is a great singer, and listens to a lot of bands like Braid and Casket Lottery and perhaps the Promise Ring, but has just found his older brother’s collection of shoegazing rock. The trains, for some reason, are on the same track. They hit, collide, sparks fly, and out of the wreckage climbs all the metal dudes and the singer. Amazed at their good fortune, they decide to start playing music… a break from the shock of the wreck. As the rescue helicopters come in to save them, they think of a band name, and when they get home, they record this album. I’m almost confused, but I really like it.
