Dead End Kids

Still Dead

F.U.G.

Eight songs in 20 minutes from Central Florida’s drunkpunk Kids. Lots of skulls and skeletons on the cover and the expected reference points [“Your Humble Narrator,” A Clockwork Orange, “Johnny Thunders Killed My Friends,” a cover of The Sex Pistols’ “The Great Rock and Roll Swindle,” malls, “Lost in the Supermarket” (not the Clash song)]. This has the right sneer and attitude, but the home recording production is marginally passable at best, and for the most part, these sound like first takes with vocals that stray from the melody and severe tempo problems from the drummer.
