Bush Exploits September 11
People are shocked–shocked! Shocked I tell you. According to the article linked above, Bush is planning an ad campaign using 9/11 imagery. In response to accusations that he is exploiting a tragedy for political purposes, my favorite graph:
“Bush media adviser Mark McKinnon addressed a question about the use of Sept. 11 images, saying “obviously 9/11 was the defining moment of these times,” and that the president’s response to attacks “are important parts of this administration’s record.”
You know? He’s right. That is an important part of this administrations record. Which is why, if John Kerry had any balls at all, he’d approve a message using this footage, which shows exactly what Bush’s immediate response to the attacks was.
