The Sound of the Crowd

Another Spin Bites The Dust

The latest predictable attack on Kerry-Edwards by Bush-Cheney is that given their opposition in the primaries, the selection of Edwards reveals Kerry as, you guessed it…a flip/flopper.

But as the American Prospect points out, it’s hardly unprecedented for two former opponents to join together for the good of their country/party. In fact there’s a certain example from recent history that you’d think Mr. Bush the younger would remember: Reagan-Bush.

But then, maybe that was during Mr. Bush the younger’s “youthful indiscretion” days…

ETA: I knew there was something I liked about them:

“An upbeat John Kerry campaigned for the first time with running mate John Edwards on Wednesday and boasted that the Democratic team has a “better vision, better ideas” than its Republican counterpart – and joked, “we’ve got better hair.”

On a more serious tip, the whole article is worth glancing at because it points out another charge the Bush campaign is making against Edwards, that of inexperience. Of course, they’re ignoring the fact he has at least as many years of elected office under his belt as did Bush when he sought the presidency. And national office, with some experience in security at that.

And another one down, and another one’s gone, another one bites the dust!
