John “loose cannon” McCain
I swear to you I just can’t get a read on this guy. First he seems to respect and like John Kerry. Then he campaigns for Bush, who he is widely belived to detest. So I assumed, OK, someone at the White House sat him down and told him he’d better get in a row with the rest of the ducks if he wanted to get any of his legislative agenda through. Unfortunate but not un-understandable.
Now he’s condemning a particuarly vicious anti-Kerry ad, and calling on the White House to do the same.
You don’t suppose…he’s actually telling the truth as he sees it? Wow, what a novelty.
