Winning writer Amy Sullivan in Washington Monthly on the possibility that the Kerry folks’ concessions to get a full three debates, “Which led to the perception that they’d given away the farm (and taken hits for their candidate) in order to [do so],” may in fact have been a subtle game of “please don’t throw me in that briar patch.”
If so, I can only say this to John Kerry: Well played, sir. Well played.
