Breaking down the god stuff
It’s always especially nice to see what Washington Monthly writer Any Sullivan has to say on the issue of religion in politics.
On a somewhat related matter, I wonder how Barack Obama feels to suddenly be the great hope of the Democratic party? Since the convention, he’s been a hope. But now, he’s pretty much it, with the possible exception of Edwards, who will be well worth watching for the next four years.
Some are pinning their hopes on Hilary, but although I like her, I think she’s just too divisive and polarizing a figure.
Of course, the really far-left liberal in me says let Democrats be Democrats: Clinton/Obama in ‘08!
