Now the only thing that gives me hope
Daily Kos and AmericaBlog have data clearly showing that Americans oppose what Congress did in the Schiavo case. How clear is it? Well, if 51% is a mandate, then this is a fucking landslide.
What’s great is that if Robert Novak wasn’t talking out of his ass for once, then the GOP is genuinely concerned about the 2006 elections. And this isn’t going to help.
If there’s one thing that gives me hope, it’s that Republicans can always be counted on to overreach.
