US plans last big push in Iraq

President George Bush has told senior advisers that the US and its allies must make “a last big push” to win the war in Iraq and that instead of beginning a troop withdrawal next year, he may increase US forces by up to 20,000 soldiers, according to sources familiar with the administration’s internal deliberations.

Tell ya what. Since pouring more oil on this fire (thats about oil) only causes more anti-American actions both in Iraq and the rest of the world, how about we calculate the percentage of these 20,000 troops that are likely to be killed and maimed, and just shoot and blow them up here. They’ll get better medical care, be around their families, and we won’t ruin the lives of even more Iraqis in our quest for “victory”, whatever that means.
