Truth to Power

Young Marble Giants

To my ears, the reissue of the year:

More to say later, but few things are so exactly “right” that no explanation or follow-up ever need exist. The only album from Young Marble Giants is a masterpiece on par with Bullocks, Nevermind or London Calling. They made a handful of singles afterward (collected here) but that was it. Pure sonic and emotional perfection.
