Whew! Theocrat Huckabee clarifies anti-American ramblings
Few days ago, theocrat/criminal coddler/crook/presidential candidate Huckabee proclaimed his desire to remake America into a myth-based theme park by rewriting our Constitution:
“I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution. But I believe it’s a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living God*. And thats what we need to do is amend the Constitution so it’s in God’s standards rather than trying to change God’s standards so it lines up with some contemporary view of how we treat each other and how we treat the family.”
*= Remember the TTP rule that states: Whenever “God” is used in a sentence, replace with toaster.
Well, since the majority of our country understands that America wasn’t designed to be Iran with wheat fields, his comment has raised a fuss. So to clarify, Huckabuck sets us all straight:
Huckabee: On two things. The context is two things. Human life amendment, which I support and which has been in the Republican platform since 1980. And by the way, Fred Thompson doesn’t support it, nor does John McCain. And yet it’s part of our platform and it’s a very important part of our platform to say that human life is something we’re going to stand for. And the second thing is traditional marriage. So those are the two areas in which I’m talking about. I’m not suggesting that we re-write the constitution to reflect tithing or Sunday school attendance. I want to make that very clear.
Yeah, thanks for clearing that up. First, the notion that human life means anything to a person who supports our wars in the Middle East is so ludicrous as to make debate on it impossible. If you care about saving innocent lives, go to Iraq and poke sticks at IEDs so they don’t blow up little brown kids, otherwise, shut the f up.
Secondly, his desire to rewrite the law of the land to protect “traditional marriage”? One assumes those are marriages such as the ones that good, God fearin’ folk in the south have, which, as survey after survey has shown, end in divorce at a higher rate than the general public.
So to sum up, Huckabee wants to force us to support human life, unless it’s some towel head “over there”, at which point they are expendable, unworthy of even being counted when dead, and to only allow “traditional” people to enter into contracts with each other based on mutual affection. That about it?
Huckabee, is it that you hate America, or are just too f’n stupid to learn the principles upon which it was founded?
