It’s time for horse whippings
The GOP threw a hissy fit yesterday, alarmed that Democrats had stumbled upon the rule of law- the GOP thought they had hidden it well enough to escape detection, but the Constitution reared its beautiful head when the Dems voted to hold King George’s minions Harriet “Gosh, isn’t our tyrant swell!” Miers and Josh Bolten in contempt. First, they stomped their little cloven hooves en mass and scurried to the parking lot, sprayed more wax on their comb overs and gave press conferences, fearful that any stink of democracy might find its insidious way into their Brooks Brothers-clad asses. But acting like petulant children and refusing to do their jobs wasn’t enough, no sir. They had to drop trou and really, really show what class and character are really all about:
House In Chaos After Republicans Force Vote During Lantos Memorial
“During what was supposed to be a somber memorial service in Statuary Hall for Rep. Tom Lantos, who died Monday, the House chamber became mired in chaos over procedural votes,” the Politico reports.
House Republicans are upset that Democrats are voting today on contempt citations for White House aides Harriet Miers and Josh Bolten, and vowed to hold ‘protest votes’ to suck up time and delay the contempt proceedings.
But Democratic aides were shocked when, during the middle of a memorial for Holocaust survivor and Congressman Tom Lantos, GOP Rep. Lincoln Diaz-Balart demanded a procedural vote on the floor, forcing members to leave the service early, even “while dignitaries were still giving tributes to Lantos.”</em>
Ok, here’s a thought. Let’s drag Diaz-Balart, and that other dickhead John Boehner onto the National Mall, chain ‘em to the ground, and beat them with horsewhips. And when they start to cry like the little babies they are, roll ‘em in salt. Really, if ignoring the law of the land and disrespecting Holocaust survivors is your idea of leadership, then you and I live in totally different realities. It’s sad that we no longer have any sense of national shame in this country, because these people should be hissed at and spit upon until whatever shred of decency that might still be hanging on inside their corrupt little souls gives up and forces them into airport bathrooms to hang themselves.
