24 Republicans vote for impeachment review
This is huge, hence, you don’t get to hear about it in the mainstream media:
House votes to send impeachment resolution to Judiciary Committee
The House of Representatives voted Wednesday to send articles of impeachment against President Bush to the Judiciary Committee for review.
The impeachment resolution’s sponsor, Rep. Dennis Kucinich, requested a recorded vote on the motion around 3 p.m. Wednesday, and 24 Republicans joined nearly all Democrats in voting to send the impeachment measure to the committee.</em>
Now, this may well be political gameplaying by the GOP, or perhaps some of them don’t want to see their futures tied to the criminals atop their party- they surely have proven they don’t care a whit about the health of our democracy over the last eight years- but for whatever reason, justice moves a step closer.
