Originally released as the title track of a 2024 EP, the song has been revisited and subtly reshaped—less a remake than a reworking that emphasizes its sonic dynamics.

According to Sembrano, “I wrote the song ‘Anywhere’ as a homage to world travel, as I have been visiting different nations regularly for the past few decades. Setting foot in a new country and experiencing its culture, sights, cuisine, and people is, for me, an unforgettable experience. Life, in my world, is more about experiences and less about routines of day-to-day living.”

Produced by Canadian musician and producer Casey Lewis of Echo Base Studios, “Anywhere” balances dance-floor momentum with gleaming, luminous surfaces. It evokes an experience of movement over inertness.

Musically, “Anywhere” opens on rapidly oscillating synths, sitting somewhere in between new wave nostalgia and modern dance-pop sheen. There’s a faint echo of classic synth-driven acts—like Depeche Mode blended with Kylie Minogue, moody but melodic—updated with a crisp, contemporary feel. A tight, propulsive beat holds the track down, while the edgy synths ripple and shimmer above it, giving the song a sense of forward pull.

The production leaves room for small, thoughtful details. Light melodic accents and airy textures keep the melody buoyant rather than overstuffed and cloying. Sembrano’s vocals, gently softened with reverb, float through the mix with slightly airy, vibrant textures, highlighting the song’s carefree, optimistic tone.

“Anywhere” invokes retro dance music without leaning too heavily on it. Instead of chasing nostalgia, the track refreshes familiar sounds with effervescent energy, resulting in something that feels both recognizable and current. It’s a song that invites listeners in with a sensation of pulsating flair.
