With the second half of their ambitious conceptual double album finally in the hands of fans, Thrice continues its ascension into greatness. The show they put on in Orlando was enough to secure their place in Jen Cray’s heart for life.

NJ’s pre-emo/melodic hardcore cult favorites Lifetime may have pissed off a lot of fans by signing to Pete Wentz’s Decaydance label, but their show with The Draft still almost sold-out Orlando’s The Social. Amongst the crowd was newly christened fan Jen Cray.

The “Black Clouds and Underdogs Tour” brings Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects, Hawthorne Heights and other teenage poster pin-up popstars to Tampa’s youth, to their parents, and to Jen Cray.

Love them or hate them, the Strokes seem to have the knack of putting on a good show down. Rob Levy caught them in St. Louis last month and is willing to testify.
